Men should typically size up, but fit is best determined by referencing the size chart. 'Women's Sizing' indicates sizing based on standard garment manufacturing terms, and is not meant to suggest gender identity.
The finished garment is washed in color, rather than dying the fabric prior to cutting and sewing. This results in subtle variations of color and a softer texture. Washed White is not garment-dyed.

"I really wanted to love these pants—and in many ways, I do. The quality is genuinely impressive. The hemp blend fabric feels substantial yet soft, with a nice stretch that makes them comfortable for lounging, travel, or casual wear. You can tell they’re thoughtfully made, and the material has that durable, elevated feel Jungmaven is known for. That said, the fit didn’t quite work for my body shape. The mid-rise and overall cut felt a bit off proportionally—it didn’t sit as flatteringly as I’d hoped, especially through the waist and hips. While the drawstring helps adjust things slightly, it doesn’t fully solve the fit issue if the base cut isn’t ideal for you. Overall, these are high-quality, well-made pants with great fabric and comfort, but I’d recommend trying them on (or being mindful of sizing and body shape) before committing. Perfect if the cut works for you—but not the most universally flattering fit."
